One hundred years ago we were in the midst of the industrial revolution. Most of us know the facts of how we changed from an agrarian society to an urban society; automobiles, electricity, radio, and so much more. But few of us can imagine what it must have been like to live through these changes on a day by day basis.
We are now in the midst of a technological revolution. Think how your computer, your cell phone, and the recording of music and video have changed from just a few years ago. And a few years from now, things will again look much different than today. I buy new electronic equipment and wish I had someone who, at a reasonable price, could explain my choices in plain language.
I have been training people for over a dozen years. I have learned their fears and desires. And yet, as much as I have taught them, they continue to teach me. I have taught all kinds of clients, from large tech companies to individuals, from IT Professionals and engineers to people who have never used a computer before. Please see the Client List for a small sample of representative clients I have trained in the past.
I also teach and train teachers for Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions. I scored in the 98th percentile on my LSAT exam and have been teaching for Kaplan since 1997. In 2004 I was named San Diego Teacher of the Year.
Prior to training, I was a lawyer for ten years. I practiced civil litigation, although there wasn't much civil about it. As a lawyer who took cases to trial, I learned a lot about how businesses operate. I had to understand the business and why policies were made. I also learned a lot about presenting in front of an audience. I learned a lot as an attorney and I was very successful at trial, but ultimately I didn't enjoy the practice.
Prior to practicing law, I attended the University of Florida (Go Gators) for both my undergraduate and graduate degrees. Although I was born in New York, I grew up in Miami Beach, Florida where in High School I was twice a State Champion in debate (finishing 7th and 9th in the nation).
